SheUltra®️ 2026 – Official Recce Programme

These recces are your chance to explore the trails, meet the community, and feel the SheUltra®️ energy long before event day. They’re supportive, friendly, and designed to help you build confidence — not pressure.

⚠️ You must already be signed up to SheUltra®️ 2026 to take part.

⚠️ Each recce has limited spaces — first come, first served.

SATURDAY 17th JAN – RUNNERS – 9 miles

Start: 10:00am

Route: Mynytho School Car Park → Pwllheli Maes

Terrain: Trail • Beach • Tarmac

SUNDAY 18th JAN – HIKERS – 9 miles

Start: 9:30am

Route: Mynytho School Car Park → Pwllheli Maes

Terrain: Trail • Beach • Tarmac

SUNDAY 1st FEB – RUNNERS & WALKERS – 8.9 miles

Route: Botwnnog → Mynytho

Hikers: 9:30am

Runners: 10:00am

Terrain: Forest • Farmland • Trails

SATURDAY 14th FEB – RUNNERS & WALKERS – 8.7 miles

Route: Abersoch → Hell’s Mouth

Hikers: 9:30am

Runners: 10:00am

Terrain: Coastal Trails

Recces go ahead in most weather; routes may adjust for safety

Come prepared — the trails can be wild, wet, and wonderful.

🍎 Nutrition & Safety

Eat a proper meal before arrival and bring enough food and drink to stay energised throughout.

Listen to your body. Tell us immediately if you need support.

This isn’t a race — this is movement, connection, and confidence.

🕘 Arrival

Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time to check in and get ready.

📸 Photography

Photos and short clips may be taken during the recces for SheUltra®️ promotion.

If you prefer not to be photographed, just let us know on the day — easy.

🚗 Transport & Parking

Some locations have free parking, others require payment

Please bring change for machines where needed

Car sharing is encouraged via the SheUltra Facebook community

Please arrange your own transport back if needed

📄 What Happens After You Enter

Once you register, you’ll receive:

1️⃣ A confirmation email

2️⃣ A final info email 48 hours before your recce

3️⃣ A short emergency contact form to complete
